Email Settings

On the Document Archive Email Settings page you can set up which document archive files are available to include as email attachments.

On the page you can enable the Files Available as Attachment checkbox field to make the files of a Document Archive Category available to include as email attachments. This way, you can exclude files from a certain category from being available as email attachments.

Business Central allows you to manually add files via the Email Editor page using the Add File from Source action when creating an email.

Normally, the standard functionality only allows you add files which are set up as a standard 'Attachment' via the Attachments tab. With the activation of these Email Settings options the document archive files are also listed as files to add as email attachments.

This feature works hand-in-hand with the Apportunix Document Mail Queue extension.

You can set up document archive files of a document to automatically be included as email attachments for the emails that are sent via the Document Mail Queue.
